What is amaise’s position on the EU AI Act?
amaise continuously monitors and assesses regulatory developments related to the EU AI Act. As a provider in the legal and insurance sectors, we are aware of the potential classification as a high-risk AI system and take this responsibility seriously.
Our approach:
amaise works continuously — both internally and with external auditors and legal advisors — to ensure compliance with the EU AI Act. This includes current requirements as well as future versions and enforcement stages. amaise is already compliant today and invests continuously in advancing AI governance to remain compliant at all times, even as regulatory frameworks evolve.
Key measures:
Ongoing compliance assessments with internal and external reviewers
Comprehensive AI governance policy covering bias evaluation, explainability, and model risk
Continuous monitoring of regulatory developments and proactive adjustments
Human-in-the-loop: amaise is designed as a human-in-the-loop system — all AI results are reviewed by qualified users before influencing decisions. No autonomous decisions are made. This design aligns with GDPR Article 22 and the requirements for human oversight of high-risk AI systems.
